Domain is already claimed

Hi 

Please can you advise. 

Our domain has been claimed by a different department in the org.

We need to use Atlassian Access but cannot without changing our mails.

We would look at another tool but we need to ensure there are no limitations.

You will need to talk to the other department and arrange for them to give you admin rights, or hand the admin over to the right part of your organisation for account maintenance.

Yes, an admin in one team can grant admin rights to people in other teams.

Thank you for the response. A follow-up question - Can we create a subdomain of an already claimed domain and use this subdomain to verify/claim the domain?

No, because sub-domains are part of the main domain.

I'm Aneita - a product manager working on Atlassian Access.

Unfortunately, a domain can only be verified by one Atlassian org today. We are currently working to remove this limitation so that multiple orgs can verify the same domain and each manage their subset of users.
