Hi,
I configured Atlassian Cloud SSO in Azure AD for my organization to log with SAML. When I am trying to log in the whole progress works with Azure works after login successfully, I get the following error shown on the Jira page: Hmm... we're having trouble logging you in. Please try again with a different authentication method.
The browse header show also another error: https://id.atlassian.com/login/callback?error=access_denied&error_description=authentication-policy-strategy-mismatch&state=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I tried everything and checked everything from the official Microsoft docs configuring the Atlassian cloud with SAML. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/saas-apps/atlassian-cloud-tutorial
Can somebody explain and help how to solve my issue?

I am now seeing this as well. I am wondering if there is any feedback on a solution to this. If generally applicable, it would be valuable to see here for others.

Hi @Mark Holmes (Adaptavist) and @Venkatesh Babu
Happy New Year! Apologies for my lack of response since I've been away on an extended leave.
The solution to this error will depend on your Azure setup. Unfortunately, I can't see the answer to this user's error since their account has been deleted.
Please raise a ticket with Access support so we can give you a hand! You can use the quick link below:
We look forward to hearing from you!
