is it possible for a site admin to be able to disable the "Request access to Jira Software" link, or create an alternate message to send?
As we now use Atlaasian Access hooked up to Active Directory to grant and manage product access, these requests only create false expectations and overhead site admins

The Request Access feature is very simple for now, so currently, there is no option to disable or edit the notifications that users will receive.
There is a feature request suggesting improvements for Request access:
