SSO without atlassian access?

Sahar Yacout February 28, 2022

When I delete users from my gsuite, these users keep being as users on bitbucket, jira, and confluence. We keep paying for them unless manually we remove them from each product.
Is there a way to remove these people permanently. What I also find strange is that in my organization, I still see the user I deleted from gsuite as part of the groups he/she was in before, even though gsuite syncs every 4 hours. Is there a way to at least disable this user in my organization when no more he exists on gsuite? because we are paying a lot of money for users who leave, while we depend on that integration between google and Atlassian. Why can the organization detect a new user on google, but doesn't detect when he is deleted from google.

Thanks

Hey @Sahar Yacout

Without knowing too much info about your account, if you don't have atlassian access, I believe it syncs all of your users. You would need Atlassian access to sync only specific groups.

I would also assume you have site admin access so you can perform these tasks.

One thing to check though is your product access - if you don't want your users to have access to a product and consume a product licences, then if you disable "New users have access to this product" then any new users would not have access.2022-03-02 20_57_10-Administration and 7 more pages - Work - Microsoft Edge.png

Then, in your group/s (especially the All users from G Suite one) ensure it does not have access to product.

Hope that helps!
