When creating a copy of a site in confluence (and placing the new copy into another space) is it possible to make the new copy dependent on the content of the mother site?
In other words, in a situation where I need to have two identical sites in two different spaces do I always have to update both sites or is there a way to make one of them a mother site and the other just a reference, so that whenever changes are made to the mother they automatically appear in the reference page in another space?
If you’re referring to page by page content, then you could consider the “include page” macro (https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/include-page-macro-139514.html#:~:text=Start%20typing%20a%20page%20title,%2C%20DOC%3AMy%20page%20name%20. )
However, permissions can get fiddly here - if you include a page “Foo” from SPACE1 in a page called “Foo” in SPACE2 - if a user has access to the SPACE2 page, but not the SPACE1 page; they won’t be able to see the content.
