Hello there,

I'd like to refer back to the point about sending relevant code snippets to 3rd party LLM provider, which yields my two questions.

  1. Does Rovo have a privacy policy defined?
  2. Is the data (code snippets) used to train the LLM at any point in the Rovo processing or by the 3rd party provider?

Thanks,

Dawid Krężel

Hi Dawid - We have all that and more answered in our Trust Center FAQs on Rovo. For the privacy policy, you can go directly here.

Hi Laurena. The FAQ and the privacy policy state:

The LLM providers we use do not use your inputs and outputs to improve their services. Neither OpenAI nor any other LLM provider retains your inputs and outputs.

This gives quite different feeling compared to what is mentioned in the Set up Rovo Dev Agents page:

Rovo Dev Agents send relevant code snippets to third-party LLM providers to generate responses. Before installing and using Rovo Dev Agents, check your repositories and remove any secret or sensitive information you don’t want shared.

It does not specify at all, how 3rd party LLM providers may use the "shared" data.

I suggest replacing this section in Set up Rovo Dev Agents page with the links you have provided.
