Please consider offering RovoDev CLI as a standalone product. I’ve tested it against Windsurf, Cursor, and Copilot, and RovoDev consistently outperforms them all.
Its daily token limit defined as millions per day offers simplicity, flexibility, and real power. I believe it even surpasses Claude Code, where the limit resets every five hours but remains unclear.
RovoDev delivers consistent performance without compromise. What truly sets it apart is the freedom to manage context manually, avoiding the artificial limitations imposed by other tools like Windsurf, Cursor, Copilot.
Many developers who don’t use Jira would love the chance to work with this remarkable tool independently.
I completely agree, too.
I use it both for work and for personal use, and if it were available as a standalone subscription product, I'd definitely continue using it personally as well.
Hey @Paweł Ruta
I am so thankful you came here to share your experience!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback and for sharing how you've found Rovo Dev CLI compared to other tools. It's excellent to hear that Rovo Dev CLI stands out for you in terms of performance, flexibility, and context management.
Regarding your request for Rovo Dev CLI as a standalone product:
Rovo Dev CLI is designed to be flexible and can be used independently. It does not require Jira or other Atlassian products to function. While it offers powerful integrations with Atlassian tools for those who want them, many developers use Rovo Dev CLI on its own for AI-powered coding and code review.
There's definitely more updates coming as we transition from Beta so do stay tuned for that!
This feedback is quite important to hear and I will be taking these comments back to the product team!
I appreciate you all for leaving comments!
