I am seeing "null" values for Used, Remaining, Total when executing /usage in Rovo Dev CLI

Stephen Musgrave October 15, 2025

Hello,

I have been using Rovo Dev CLI extensively for the last two days (~3000 credits). Today when attempted to execute a command I got this error:

You've reached your daily token limit
Your daily usage limit of 20,000,000 tokens resets in 9 hours and 51 minutes.

Then I did `/usage` and saw this:

Monthly Rovo Dev credits usage
Used: null
Remaining: null
Total: null

Thinking it was an authentication issue I logged out: `acli rovodev auth logout`

I then logged in successfully, same error as above, still seeing null values.

I then revoked my API Token, created a new one and I reauthenticated with that one successfully but I'm still seeing the same error as above, still seeing null values.

Noting that it is also odd that I'm seeing the old beta quota of 20,000,000 tokens.

I am not on the Standard trial, I started paying for my subscription yesterday and added 2,000 tokens to it (total of 4,000). I've used 2,380 credits.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

UPDATE 10/16/2025

Given that the above error message said that my tokens would reset in 9 hours, I tried again this morning knowing that the wait time would be exceeded.

I typed in a simple command, `test` and it worked, Rovo Dev responded back with a description of my project.

I then did `/usage` and saw the same odd "null" values as I saw yesterday (detailed above)

I have opened a support ticket to look into this matter.

I opened a support ticket and the agent advised me to do the following steps and now I can see my usage statistics:

  1. Exit the CLI if it is running: `/exit`
  2. Check version, 0.12.10 has the fix for this problem: `acli rovodev --version`
  3. Start Rovo Dev: `acli rovodev run`
  4. Check usage statistics: `/usage`

Hi @Stephen Musgrave

My apologies for getting back to you so late! And I'm sorry you're experiencing this!

We've had many of our teammates on leave after Team Europe concluded 2 weeks ago!

I checked with the team on this, and they're already on it!

We'll reach out to you when we have more info on the resolution!

Jov
