I think the possibilities and promises of Rovo Dev are great! The integration with Jira and BitBucket can give it an up compared to CoPilot (we now use the Atlassian MCP). Unfortunately I am now missing the integration (especially to easily see the diffs) in VS Code. Claude Code and CoPilot both brings this. Is this also planned for Rovo Dev?
Hey @Laurens van Run
Atlassian has introduced the Atlassian Rovo for GitHub Copilot extension, which integrates Rovo's capabilities into VS Code via GitHub Copilot. For standalone VS Code integration without GitHub Copilot, there is currently no official extension available. Consider submitting a Feature Request. In the meantime, you can use the Rovo Dev CLI, which offers AI-powered development assistance directly from the terminal.

Cool, however - for what I can see from the demos - this does not work with CoPilot in Agent mode, right?

You're right @Laurens van Run —Rovo Dev doesn’t currently support Agent Mode inside GitHub Copilot for VS Code. While you can use Rovo for inline help, full agent workflows aren't available in that setup yet. For now, the Rovo Dev CLI or web interface is your best bet for agent functionality. Keep an eye on the Rovo Dev Community for updates—they’re actively working on expanding support.
