I created an agent and provided it with specific Confluence pages. I was wondering, if I update the content on these pages, does the agent update its knowledge as well?
How long does it take for the new knowledge to be effectively used by the agent?
Hi @Alexandre Phuong ,
From my own experience, the agent seems to pick up changes almost instantly. I tested this by updating a Confluence page linked to my Rovo agent (copied fresh data from our CMDB), and the agent used the new content right away.
So while Atlassian doesn’t officially state the exact refresh time, in practice it worked immediately for me.
Let me know if you see the same on your side!
Thanks @Christos Markoulatos.
Prior to posting the question, I tested with an additional content and asked a question about it, and the answer was:
"We can’t respond to that prompt.Your prompt might not comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Try a different prompt."
It's weird because I wasn't asking something crazy, juste the time it takes to do something.
But I just tried again with another newly added content and I confirm that the agent was able to pick it up instantly, just as you experienced too.
I don't why I got the prior error but anyway it works.
Thanks.

Great to hear it @Alexandre Phuong
LLM restrictions are weird, but it worked for your use case so all good!
