I have a database built in confluence that includes a list of data records that has a Key, Name, and description.

I am trying to build an agent that can reference the confluence database to answer questions but even when I give it the exact text to lookup it says it can't find anything.

  • Can this be done?
  • Is this a constraint of Rovo?
  • Is there any roadmap item to improve this integration between Rovo and Confluence Databases?

Hey @Paul Buonomo and welcome to the community. I don't think Rovo currently indexes or interact directly with Confluence Databases. Rovo's indexing capabilities are limited to Confluence pages, blog posts, and comments. If you feel inclined, submit a feature request. I don't currently see it on the roadmap.

In the meantime, a practical workaround would be to export your Confluence Database content into a standard Confluence page. This way, Rovo can index the information, making it accessible to agents and search functions.

There is a Ticket in the Rovo-Jira ROVO-230. If you want, you can vote for it and comment on your use case. Maybe then it will be processed faster ;-)
