I have seen somewhat related posts, but haven't found the solution for the specific issue.
Each time I open SourceTree (2.3.1.0) I receive a message (first dialog in image) about uninstalling older versions.
The older versions do appear in Settings... Apps & Features in Windows 10, but if select one of these older versions and click "Uninstall", the system returns an error dialog (second dialog in image) about a missing installer file. (The file does not exist.)
I have tried some of the suggestions in the related posts, but so far without success.
Hi
Download the installer for each version from https://www.sourcetreeapp.com/download-archives and re-run them you should be offered the option to uninstall.
That page doesn't list all versions, but if you take the URL of one you can amend it to get other versions,
https://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/SourceTreeSetup_1.9.6.1.exe
https://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/SourceTreeSetup_1.9.6.2.exe
OK, that did work (and I didn't have to uninstall the new version).
Note that it is necessary to complete the installation, including signing in, in order for the uninstaller to work. (I tried not signing in, but just closing the window. Then clicking Uninstall after the confirmation does nothing.)
I ran the Uninstall from Settings... Apps & features page. The two older versions no longer appear there. The warning dialog that used to appear every time I opened the new version no longer appears.
Thanks for the helpful answer!
