How to rename file or folder (removing spaces and keep history)

Hi,

how can i rename files in bitbuckt and retain history? I have to remove spaces from folder and files names...
Please help,

I would recommend using the command line to do the renaming, using git mv <old name> <new name>. It can be done from file explorer, but if you are on Windows you will have to be careful with cases, I have seen situations were a user renamed a folder and Windows changed the casing on it, causing it to show up twice in Bitbucket (our server is on Unix).
