Hunk generate garbled characters

The code which includes comment in SJIS(Japanese) is good for displaying in diff window.

But once chose the block for hunk, the block will be broken and garbled characters on the staging window.

Is it possible to fix it by any setting or solution?

It's probably a bug, You should report it at jira.atlassian.com, along with a screenshot of a program that is displaying the comment properly.

I am temporarily using SmartGit only to do hunk. I will report the phenomenon at jira.atlassian.com.
