Is there a way to do git merge --squash?

The git command offers a way to turn all the changes on one branch into a single commit on another without doing an actual merge.  This doesn't seem to be an option in SourceTree, unless I'm missing it.  Is it possible?

I think you're looking for the "interactive rebase", but I've never figured out how to use that.
