Is there a way to switch off the animations in the new Windows 2.0 release

The new GUI design is very pretty, but the animations can be distracting.

Maybe I'm just boring and have no soul, but I'd rather the display was just refreshed as fast as possible with the minimum fuss. At the end of the day, this is a tool for work so speed and efficiency are paramount IMHO.

Anyone know any tricks I can use to do this? I couldn't find anything in the "Options" dialog.

Hi David, I'm glad you like the new UI! However, disabling the animations is not possible. If you'd like to have that option available, you can suggest it via https://jira.atlassian.com. You're always welcome to submit your feature requests and ideas :)
