I use visualStudio git repository and have sourcetree version 2.1.10.1 and Git 2.12.0. I have this fully functional and communicating with my repositories on my original machine. However I purchase a new machine and am attempting to setup the repositories and get unable to locate or authenticate the path. Before I get flooded with too many 'those versions are old' I have attempted to do it with the latest version of SourceTree and Git and have the same error. So I was attempting to match my previous installation and as I have the older version in my software directory I was able to do so. With no success and knowing one of the first steps would be get on the latest version I have installed 3.4.9 SourceTree and GIT 2.37.2 and still have the below issue. Here is the message I am currently getting:
Command: git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false ls-remote https://vpromos.visualstudio.com/DefaultCollection/_git/vpromos
Output:
Error: Logon failed, use ctrl+c to cancel basic credential prompt.
Command: perl.exe C:\Users\ddesc\AppData\Local\SourceTree\app-3.4.9\tools\svn.pl info https://vpromos.visualstudio.com/DefaultCollection/_git/vpromos
Output:
Error: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The system cannot find the file specified
Any assistance will be appreciated.
