Hi

Sourcetree registration relies on a component that uses Internet Explorer under the hood.

Please check you can log into https://id.atlassian.com using Internet Explorer, if you have problems there our current best advice is as follows:

  1. open Internet Explorer
  2. open the Developer tools, f12
    1. set the Browser Mode 10
    2. set the Document Mode Standards
  3. open Cog/Internet options
    1. ensure the following settings are enabled
    2. Misc/Access data sources across domains
    3. Misc/Allow META_REFRESH
    4. Scripting/Active Scripting

We continue to have this area under review.

Hi Michael,

i installed IE11 and it worked out of the box. I couldn't see this as a system requirement in any of the documentation.

Now i just need to try and make our legacy business systems work with IE11... hopefully Enterprise Mode will help. FYI - we generally use two browser solutions, IE8 for legacy apps and latest Firefox for everything else (JIRA, Confluence...). Sorting all this out will delay our migration to JIRA s/w.

Glad to here you've got this under review, suggest you at least make Sourcetree browser neutral if it has to use a browser at all.

thanks,

Chris
