Is there an setting for changing the push command to not always use the --new-branch option?
There's a high amount of repository traffic where I work, because so, "--new-branch" becomes more of a liability than anything.
Would it be possible in the future to ask the user, when pushing, if they 'want to push to a new branch' or not?
Not right now - but under what circumstances is this a problem? This option simply allows the pushing of a new branch you've created, and I've never come across a situation where that's not what you want.
