Quotes in Sourcetree Console Output

I've set up a custom action to run git with the following parameters:
--pretty=format:'%aI %B'  $SHA..HEAD

The action does what it's supposed to, but the console window is full of single quotes:
'2018-07-26T13:45:04+01:00 * Added more exception handlers in the responderSocket.
* minor documentation change.
'
'2018-07-26T11:03:35+01:00 Corrected a unit test.
'

Is there any way to get it displayed correctly and without those quotes?
