I installed Visual Studio 2017 which installed git. This seems to have broken my ssh-agent in sourcetree now. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. Same thing.
The error I get is a window entitled "Error encountered". The wording is "'ssh-agent' failed with code -1: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ()"
Any ideas on what to do? Should I try to uninstall the git update?
I finally found this link, https://community.atlassian.com/t5/SourceTree-questions/how-to-reslove-ssh-agent-failed-with-code-1-System/qaq-p/282052
I updated the embedded version of git, and that seemed to solve the ssh-agent issue.
My problem now is SourceTree is still VERY unresponsive. Not sure what happened.
