Cannot update Sourcetree - Error: Remote release File is empty or corrupted

When I opened Sourcetree today for the first time in a while I was presented with the following error:

There was an error during the update process. 

Remote release File is empty or corrupted

When I try to update in the Options I get the same message. I need to update as when I go to the Authentication tab of the Options settings sourcetree crashes. I need to update my Github authentification settings. What's happening with Sourcetree today?

I downloaded the Sourcetree installer and that updated Sourcetree. 

The authentication tab is still crashing though...
