Creating a merge message in Source Tree

Is there a way to create/edit the log message when merging in Source Tree?

Turns out I just need to uncheck 'Commit merge immediately (if no conflicts)'. Thanks!

Hi David,

Could you provide some more information? When you do a merge in SourceTree you're creating a new commit, so when hitting "Commit" you can put whatever message you wish for the merge commit that will show in the log.

Are you saying that you can't edit the commit message when merging?
