I've installed the current version of Mercurial (4.0.2) onto my Windows 7 computer. I've installed the current version of SourceTree. But I have no luck enabling Mercurial support.
When I go to Options > Mercurial and click Enable Mercurial Support, SourceTree can't find the mercurial installation. I get a dialog with a list of options. I chose the option to locate the Mercurial installation manually, and point to the C:\Program Files\Mercurial\hg.exe
. Mercurial comes back with the same dialog. It doesn't like my choice, apparently.
What might I be doing wrong? What am I missing? What is missing?
I've got the same Problem with Mercurial 4.1.2 on Windows 7.
I'm currently using SourceTree 2.0.19.1.
I'm getting a similar issue but I can't even point to my mercurial installation, when I try to choose the option I just get the message back saying that it can't be found with no option to indicate where the installation is. So I chose no mercurial. When I try to enable mercurial it goes back to the same options. In the end the only option appears to be to download an embedded mercurial
