With SourceTree 2.1.2.5 and windows 10, it uses manager-st for credential.helper. How do I clean up the cache this manager-st uses? I have problem with authentication to remote HTTP repository.
Here is my problem with pull operation:
git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false -c credential.helper=manager-st fetch origin
fatal: Authentication failed for 'http://btt-tfs-idn.verizon.com/BTTCollection/Configuration%20Management/_git/CM%20Scorecard/'
Completed with errors, see above.
Search for Git-Credential-Manager in discussion or click this link https://community.atlassian.com/t5/SourceTree-discussions/Git-Credential-Manager/td-p/580591 Follow the instructions, you could set correct username and password for 2.1.2.5 to use to do "Pull" or "Push" operations.
Hi
Via Ctrl-Win open the "Manage Windows Credentials"
Under the "Windows Credentials" heading, delete any/all entries with the prefix "git:"
