Hi all,
The release notes fom the lastest version of SourceTree mentiones a new feature that links JIRA issue-keys in commit messages directily to the corresponding issue page on JIRA. I wanted to try it out but wasn't able to enable it. I presume that you somewhere have to state the base address of a JIRA portal for SourceTree to automatically link to the corresponding issue.
Can somebody tell me to do here?
Cheers,
Mike
Sorry this wasn't clearer, we have a blog on this coming soon.
The settings are per-repository so you need to click on the 'Settings' button on the top-right of the repo window toolbar, then go to the 'Advanced' tab. There's a 'Commit Text Replacements' section there which is where you add your JIRA link setup, you just need to know the project prefix and the base JIRA instance URL.
Excellent! Thanks for the hint!
