Refresh never work

TY Sun July 11, 2018

Dear all,

I found Auto-refreshing when the file changed never work, badly manually refreshing also does not work? Does anyone have ideas?

Version is 2.6.10.0, operation system is windows 10.

I also found in 1.7 it does work.

  • Modify a file and then switch back to Sourcetree
    • I modified 2 files and added 2 files, it seems that it detected something, but cannot give the details, and the files added cannot be detected.
    • the screenshot:
    • 1.png
    • after restart sourcetree, this should be right:
    • 2.png
  • Open the Process Viewer (Tools > Process Viewer)
    • it is blank
  • Manually refresh your repo by hitting 'F5' or by going to "View > Refresh"
    • no use
  • In the Process Viewer window, select the log row that has the label "GetFileStatus" under the "Caller Context" column
    • the process viewer is blank.
  • Click the "View Process Output..." button after selecting that row
    • as above
  • Post a screenshot of just that output window -- which will list the command Git used, and the results of the command
    • as above

The auto-refreshing works in an opened repo, but never work at the "New tab" view.

In 1.7 it works although the repo is closed.

Hello! Could you please do the following for me?

  • Modify a file and then switch back to Sourcetree
  • Open the Process Viewer (Tools > Process Viewer)
  • Manually refresh your repo by hitting 'F5' or by going to "View > Refresh"
  • In the Process Viewer window, select the log row that has the label "GetFileStatus" under the "Caller Context" column
  • Click the "View Process Output..." button after selecting that row
  • Post a screenshot of just that output window -- which will list the command Git used, and the results of the command

Thanks!
