Using SourceTree v3.0.1 for macOS, I am cloning remote repositories.
Each time, SourceTree wants to clone this into my user "home" folder. I don't want these projects to be cloned to this location. I want to change the **default** to use a different folder so I don't have to do this every time.
Other community posts indicate that this can be changed using options on the "Tools" menu. However, the macOS version does NOT have a "Tools" menu. And, I've searched everywhere I can think of but I cannot find any equivalent way to change this.
Is this just a feature the developers never added to the macOS version? (If so, developers are you listening?)
Or, is there a way to do this that I just haven't found yet?
Go to the General Tab in SourceTree Preferences. At the top of the section "Miscellaneous" there is a window to choose the "Project Folder".
Thanks! There it is, hidden in plain sight!
