I found the solution to this on my own.
The answer was to fully uninstall and re-install my graphics drivers.
I don't know why something as general as graphics drivers would only be affecting certian applications, but there it is.
Noticed the same thing happening in Windows 7 with a generic(ish) dell laptop
Everything I could get from the event viewer is here. It's the same problem I think.
Application: SourceTree.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: exception code e0434352, exception address 000007FEFCC3B3DD
@Jacob Whetstone, when you say graphics drivers, what, specifically did you reinstall?

I'm not sure what the proper workflow is here but I filed a bug on JIRA regarding this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN-3318

I fully uninstalled all video drivers (via device manager) until I was down to generic VGA, then installed the latest version of ATI Catalyst, and everything was working again.

I don't believe this is really a bug in Sourcetree itself, but rather something between the ATI drivers and the .NET rendering libraries that Sourcetree happens to be using. It happened to me directly after a Windows update.

Jacob, I think you're right. When we uninstalled then re-installed .NET4.5.2, it appears to be working fine. I'll close my bug and hopefully others can see this and fix the issue.
