Updated files not updated when tab is not active - 2.1.2.3

Hi I just upgraded to 2.1.2.3 this morning. 

I'm finding that if you change a file in a repository that is not the active tab, the commited file list does not show the file when you select the tab.  If you save the file again it refreshes.

Hi Gareth, 

A few questions/things to try:

• Create a new text file with a single line in it, and see if it shows in the diff view
• Check the "Default Text Encoding" setting on the Options menu. Have them try UTF-8 and see if the issue still occurs.
• Check the Diff settings on the Options menu (mainly the text size limit – the files he's trying to diff may be very large)

Lastly, can you confirm if you have some submodule on that repo? I'm asking this because you may be facing this bug.
