Hello all,
I'm hoping you can help me with the following two things.
1. How do I grant SourceTreeForMac write permissions? Currently it is read-only, and I do not see an option to change that anywhere in my GitHub settings (GitHub has also told me it's not a problem on their side).
2. (Possibly related). It seems SourceTree can only access my public repositories, but not the private ones. How do I fix this? I've already have SSH keys set up.
(I'm using OSX Catalina 10.15.2 and SourceTree 4.0.1)
Thank you kindly!
Ideally, Sourcetree should be able to list all your public and private repos you own when you add the GitHub account in Sourcetree. Can you please confirm if you’ve added the account and if so, whether it’s https/ssh and what auth mechanism you’ve used (basic auth/ oAuth)?
Resolved this issue using basic auth. Both https and ssh work. No joy wth oAauth. Thanks.
