Is there any documentation available that describes the use of SourceTree with Git on a windows 7 and windows 8 machine with Sophos Antivirus?

SourceTree is running slow after we installed Sophos AV, we try to exclude the folders with no luck.

Could you tell me which folders to exclude and the temp folders too ?

Hi Ian,

If you excluded the folders with no luck, maybe the antivirus isn't the problem. For testing purposes, could you disable the antivirus, restart your computer and check if the slowness still remains? If not, can you check your windows firewall as well? You can do the same test than the antivirus (disabling) or try to add a rule to allow all traffic with sourcetree.

I don't know of any documentation with respect to Sophos specifically.  What problem are you seeing?
