sourcetree "copy sha to clipboard" is very slow

The "copy sha to clipboard" is extremely slow. Why is that?

In fact, clipboard copy of anything is slow, blocking even for a few seconds, Sourcetree version 1.6.20.0

This is on Windows 10, I have noticed similar "stuckness" when copy-pasting in the integrated Windows Mail application that comes with the OS.

This is still an issue in 1.9.6.1 (windows).

I've never seen this kind of issue in any other program I've ever used.

I can confirm this. Actual in the middle of 2016.

Did you see slowness in MS Word? Or Visual Studio? It is like saying that sort is slow because you are using bubble sort instead of quicksort.
