Since the shift to auto-updating in the 2.x line it's been nice to get fixes every once in a while to annoyances however the 2.1.2.4 update today is again completely useless as it takes the better part of a minute for the app to finish merges whether a merge tool is used or a "resolve using mine/theirs" is used and generally it takes a pretty long time for any changes to be reflected in the UI.
Anyway, the previous version was markedly better than the ones before it so now I'd like to return to that version.
Other questions on this topic provide information only relevant to the 1.x line. Since SourceTree can update itself maybe it'd be useful to put in a version selector as well so that users can roll back when releases like this happen (which seems to be somewhat regular, sadly).
Hi Tom! If you'd like to go back to a previous version you'll need to download and install it. You can use this link https://downloads.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/windows/ga/SourceTreeSetup-2.0.20.1.exe and replace it with the version you'd like to get.
Regarding your last comment, if you'd like to have a version selector you're welcome to submit your idea as a feature request at jira.atlassian.com by clicking on Create.
Hope this helps!
