Search branch

Hello, I want to know how I can activate the "search" on left side list.  I had it on a previous version (I don't remember the version) just like the second picture

I'm on Windows 11

Hi @Joël Rodrigue 

Please try the following steps:

• Open Sourcetree on your Windows machine.

• In the left sidebar, you should see sections like:

  • Workspace

  • Branches

  • Tags

  • Remotes

  • Stashes

  • Submodules
  • ...

• Hover your mouse over the Branches or Remotes section headers.

• A search bar should automatically appear at the top of that section (if it's hidden).

If the search bar is not visible:

• Expand the sidebar by dragging it wider — sometimes the UI hides the search field if the panel is too narrow.

• Make sure you're on the latest version of Sourcetree, as older versions may behave differently.

• Try toggling the "View → Show Sidebar" option from the menu if it's collapsed

Some versions have improved UI filtering, including:

• Global filtering for all refs

• Contextual search per section

So updating to the latest version may also enable more intuitive behavior.
