Sourcetree fails to run on Windows 10 32 bit

Balint Nagy May 6, 2025

I have a Windows 10 32bit environment. Sourcetree crashes on start. Debugging it reveals this error (see below), so I assume it has something to do with the 32 bitness.

I tried to upgrade, uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted local data.

Do I need to downgrade to an older version? If so, which one?

Hi @Balint Nagy

What JRE do you have installed?  I'd start with updating that.

Hi,
I'm not using Java.
Managed to downgrade to a working version, 3.2.6. The next one, 3.3.4 exhibits the issue.
I'll stick to 3.2.6 on this machine. On others (64 bit Win 10s and 11s), I have latest.
