Sourcetree sidebar permanently in loading state in 2.0.20.1

Since upgrading SourceTree to 2.0.20.1, my sidebar is permanently stuck in a loading state and so I cannot navigate my repo branches etc.
I've tried removing and re-adding the repo, and also uninstalling and reinstalling SourceTree, but to no avail. Anybody else having this issue?
