Staging files while using Nodemon

Hey guys,

Anyone here used Nodemon before? Every time I stage a file or even click to see the file changes, it triggers a change and then Nodemon detects that.

Just curious as to why it detected a file change... bit annoying as it keeps restarting my server.

Staging etc will cause at very least a change in the .git folder of your repo, is Nodemon watching that folder?
