Merging impossible in Mac version 2.5.2 (111)

I reported the bug a couple of days ago. No acknowledgement of the report, nothing. No-one official seems to have seen it or triaged it or anything.

Anyone else on the Mac seeing this same problem or is it just me?

We fixed it for 2.5.3 which is rolling out to users but isn't 100% availability yet. When complete the bug will be updated with this fix info.
