When installing SourceTree what do I enter on the Log in screen?

I have a username and I have an email address. Which do I enter in this login screen that comes up during the process of installing SourceTree? And if it is the email address, then when and where do I enter a username. The username is not the email address.  I am attempting to install SourceTree on Windows so I can free up my MacBook for funner things.
