Wrong keyboard focus

I like to stick mostly to keyboard. When I use the keyboard shortcut Cmd + 2 to switch to commit history, focus is not set to the list of commits. Tabbing doesn't seem to get me there either. I have to manually click into the commit list to navigate it with the arrow keys. Is there some way to fix this?
