A good way to test incident API functionality without notifying our customers?

Is there a dev environment for the API? I can't seem to find one in the docs.

I am building some automation around creating and updating incidents, and was wondering if folks have worked out a way to do this kind of testing without poking our customers with the test incidents.

Hi there John,

Thanks for writing into Community, I'm Talar from the Atlassian Statuspage support team, happy to help!

We recommend creating a new Public trial page in your Statuspage Organisation to use as a "sandbox" or dev environment.

Public trials never expire and don't cost anything, so you can keep it that way for as long as you'd like and use it for testing/dev purposes without sending any notifications to your customers.

Please follow the steps listed here to add a new page: https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/add-a-new-status-page/

Happy testing!
