Can the Manage API modify the `page_description` field of the page?

We want to be able to update the page description to have an indication of the last time the status of the components were update.  From the documentation, the `Update A Page` API call does not include the `page_description` field in the input.  Is there a way to manage this field?

Thank you for bringing this up! Currently, the Update A Page API does not support editing the page_description field, which means this field can only be updated manually via the UI.

To address this limitation, I’ve created an internal feature request for our product team: STATUS-925. This request proposes enhancing the API to allow programmatic updates to the page_description field. This would enable automation, such as including the last updated timestamp for components directly in the page description.

While I can’t provide a specific timeline, Atlassian evaluates feature requests based on user impact and product priorities. Rest assured, your feedback has been shared with the team.
