I am looking to pre-schedule several maintenance windows, but we will be handling the customer communications separately. If I create a maintenance window in the tool for next week, and uncheck all of the boxes around "notify subscribers" - will the tool still notify subscribers? We cannot tell if notify subscribers is specifically for the real-time reminders during, or if it is also triggered when scheduled. Thank you

If you create a maintenance window in Statuspage and make sure all the "Notify subscribers" boxes are unchecked, then no notifications will be sent at all, not during scheduling, before the start time, or during/after the event.
This includes:
The initial announcement when the maintenance is scheduled
Reminder notifications (like the one hour before start)
Notifications when the maintenance starts or ends
Unchecking those boxes fully disables notifications for that maintenance. So yes, you can absolutely pre-schedule several upcoming maintenance windows and handle customer communication separately, without Statuspage sending anything out automatically.
