Why wasn't the latest GitHub incident included as an incident in Statuspage?

https://www.githubstatus.com/incidents/pbz6fh7mz86w but the third-party component doesn't show any incidents.

Great question!

The third party component will only change its status when it is selected as an affected component for a given incident, and put into a degraded state. You might be able to get more information on why the given component wasn't selected as an affected component by reaching out to the Github support team.
