Manually update data without Workday connector

Now that talent is GA , how do I upload worker information without the workday connector? The upload features from a csv are no longer there? 

We aren’t ready to enable the Workday connector, and it will have to comply with several policies internally that will take some time to go through the approvals 

Without the manual upload, the data is now unusable and doesn’t accurately reflect our people

Hi James - the Workday connector is essential for Talent to function post GA and supports key features such as ingestion of custom fields, granular error validations and automated syncs. The data also lands in the graph through the connector which is necessary for analytics and compliance. The direct CSV upload was a temporary and restricted ingestion method to support EAP and will not be supported now that we are GA. We will have a generic CSV S3 Connector available later in the year though. I have reached out to you directly on slack. I'm happy to continue the conversation there and can give you more context.

We have 2 data sources for resources.

• Workday
• Beeline

Both of these sources contain resource information that is required to staff teams. As a day 1 implementation could we utilize a manual csv upload?

Hello Musunga, could you confirm if you are still talking about the Brambles use case? if yes, for the demo purposes James had spoken about, you could continue using the manual CSV upload for both Beeline and Workday data. But once you decide to onboard to the production instance, to ingest data from Beeline, you would need to use the S3 CSV Connector which will be available later in the year. Workday data will need to be ingested either via the Workday connector or through the S3 CSV connector if you are to ingest it simultaneously with Beeline data as well.
