Too many meetings, not enough actual work?

We’ve all been there—endless stand-ups, status updates, and planning sessions that eat up half the day… but don’t move the needle.

What if your meetings actually helped your team get things done instead of slowing them down?

Resolution? Jira as your team’s single source of truth. No more chasing updates. No more unnecessary calls. Just clear priorities, automated workflows, and real collaboration.

We're making a whole session about it, with Mark (Atlassian Modern Coach Work Expert).

Join our no-BS, all-practical webinar where we’ll share:
✅ How to run stand-ups & sprint planning that work (without dragging on for an hour)
✅ Why Loom, automation & templates can replace half your meetings
✅ Best practices for team communication in Jira—so work flows, not frustrations

Great topic! I struggle with the follow-up after the meeting or non-meeting. Finding the time to put out the action items and next steps based on the discussions, instead of diving headfirst back in to the work that piled up during the meeting, is my default. I know that my team suffers by my not striking while the iron is hot and I need strategizes to avoid this pitfall.

@Andy Gladstone Yes! and also, from my experience, action items are often left behind after meetings. We created an automation that moves each unfinished action item to the next meeting's Confluence page—a lifesaver!
