But they’re terrible for long-term memory.

They get buried.
Derailed.
Disconnected from actual work.

Async teams need something more than “just using Slack better.”

They need continuity

➡️ Conversations tied to work items
➡️ Accessible after weeks or months
➡️ Organized and searchable by default

That’s how you keep context intact and your team unblocked.

I agree with you. Keeping a record of conversations linked to tasks can be very useful for understanding past decisions.
