I am finally catching up. Fun series! Concorde used to be one of my favorite planes. I still have hope a new version will come back someday.

This season has been amazing. The sheer passion and approach to problems by the UK & French teams to collaborating was amazing. 

I am, unfortunately, not hopeful that another sonic commercial plan will be viable due to the staggering costs, change management, and economic opposition. I would love to be proven wrong though.

The first episode I listened to and wow, great quality and a lot of information. There is nothing a team with conviction can't do.

The Concorde story is a tragic one, unfortunately, it isn't on its own. Teams come up with great technology and, by sheer dedication, manage to solve the issues. Allowing humanity to achieve something great, only to see it come crashing down at some point in time.

Airships, supersonic flight, and moon landings to name a few. It never ceases to amaze me, how much knowledge and experimentation we used to do in the past, only to have lost the will or knowledge to re-perform those feats again.

Maybe a bit late to the party, but never too late to catch up with awesome content. I particularly like the approach that really digs into an inspiring story, gets a lot of expertise around the table and combines both fun facts with the opportunity to discover a major story in the history of teamwork and technology.

In the fast paced world we live in the race to go ever further and faster still is on. Looking at the ambitions to go to Mars or travel fast to the other side of the world, I do hope diverse teams can and will also bring a sustainable angle to those challenges to the table ...

The return of sonic commercial flight seem too costly at this time. I got the impression from the episode that private companies investing in this need a lot of capital just to keep going.
