How do i create a team list on my home page?

I see samples where you can show pictures of the team members, I want to do that but cannot find out how to do that.

Hi Steve - I'm assuming you want to do this on Confluence page.

You can insert a 'Profile picture' macro on your page for each of the people in your team:

Hello, I have inserted profile pictures in my Space Overview. Now I am wondering how to insert a description of each team member under each picture (as shown here https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/guides/get-started/set-up#step-3 in the Customize your Space Overview section) to indicate their position in the company and what department they are a part of.
